As of April 1, 2022, the Series 63 exam is no longer available for remote testing by default. According to the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA), the Series 63, 65, and 66 exams can now only be taken online if a candidate qualifies for a testing accommodation, such as a documented medical condition that prevents them from testing at a physical center. FINRA+3nasaa.org+3nasaa.org+3
For most candidates, the Series 63 exam must be taken in person at a Prometric test center. You can schedule your exam through Prometric’s website or by contacting them directly. Knopman+2Prometric+2adbanker.com+2
If you believe you qualify for a testing accommodation, you should submit a request through FINRA, which administers NASAA exams. This process involves providing appropriate documentation, such as a medical professional’s verification, to support your accommodation request. FINRA+1FINRA+1FINRA
